Ridgecrest Grand Prix October 1st and 2nd

I pulled this off the http://www.viewfindersmc.com/ website who host the event. This is the 37th annual Ridgecrest Grand Prix and is round 5 of 6 of the Big 6 Grand Prix series. This is always a fun family event with lots of camping. More info here http://www.big6racing.com/doc/2010_VFMCentry.pdf

In conjunction with the City of Ridgecrest, we host the annual Viewfinder Grand Prix (a Big 6 event), typically the first weekend of October (see D-37 race schedule for exact dates).  The race is held at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds in the town of Ridgecrest, CA.  This venue is a well established location providing a welcoming atmosphere for racers AND spectators.

Amenities include indoor sign up & scoring area, bleachers for spectating, permanent food vendors, ample car & truck parking, RV/trailer parking & hookups, permanent toilets, shower facilities and a well organized vendor row where you can pick up a few goodies and get rider’s autographs.  Saturday night entertainment is provided on a huge grassy courtyard so the kids can play and the adults can bench race the night away.  In addition, the fairgrounds proximity to the numerous hotels, restaurants & retail stores of Ridgecrest eliminates the need to “pack for the weekend”.
